The cd-rom 'notes 01' interface design is completely based on the square shape. It is structured in lines of audio- and film applications, which the user is supposed to combine individually. The audio files can be controlled by several animated graphic interfaces. The movies can be understood as scores. They can be watched by scanning trough their single frames in any direction (left, right, up, down, diagonal and in a spiral form). The arrangement follows their grade of abstraction. A minimalist square font was also designed specially for this cd-rom.
