Next step in the series O.K. spectral: Multidimensionally formatted constructions of space are visualized. At the point where the parameters of Euclidean geometry are abandoned and virtual architectures are generated on the basis of digital communication, variable zones and islands arise which can continually be brought into relationship. This process of relativization of three dimensional coordinates is visualized in the installation IP-III. The original idea is to produce a desirable internet-typical space. Its internal architectonic projections do not correspond to usual geographic information, but rather derive from the codes from IP numbers. The binary data from user's IP addresses which clicks in from outside through the internet is transformed into spatial coordinates. The space generated modifies according to the behavior of the corporally or virtually present visitor. Parallel to this, a soundtrack by the musician Dieter Kovacic can be heard, which itself is generated from the streaming IP data.
